Low income or pro bono representation
Asked in Cleveland, GA on April 18, 2026 Last answered on May 4, 2026I have recently discovered that I have criminal charges that have been dead docketed in two counties in GA. I am a resident of NC and work in a Substance Abuse Treatment Facility. I recently applied for my CADC licensure and was denied due to active warrants in GA. Issues are with Drug Court and Probation Violation. This was a very different time in my life, and I had a very short criminal history. After surviving a DV case with my former husband (children included), I kind of lost my marbles for a minute. I know this is a long shot, but I am wondering what legal help with my cases would be available at low cost or pro bono. I have been to in-patient rehab, and am of service to my peers/addicts.

You should contact a criminal defense lawyer in the jurisdiction where the charges are pending to see what can be done and to see what the fees would be and options for lower costs attorneys.
