My son is currently being held in jail on an assault charge in Effingham Co. GA. I'm in PA. Help
Asked in Savannah, GA on March 25, 2026 Last answered on May 4, 2026He was arrested in Oct. 2025. He is being held on a domestic violence charge for fighting with his wife. He had a 2nd hearing on Monday: They offered him 5 yrs. in and 15 probation. He has no money, no family there....no hope. He has a record, but has never been charged with anything like this. The lawyer he has is actually doing nothing to help. I don't know what to do, and I also have a very limited budget.
