Do You Need A Lawyer For Juvenile Court In MN?
Asked in Minneapolis, MN Last answered on October 30, 20261 answer
I recommend that anyone accused of a crime, whether juvenile or adult, be represented by an attorney. This is particular true for juveniles that do not have the same ability to advocate for themselves as an adult might. Juveniles are always eligible for appointed attorneys (public defenders) but could instead choose to hire a private attorney. I will add that the more serious the allegation, the more critical it is to have representation by an attorney experienced with juvenile and criminal law.
