What are my rights as a dad for my children? I have 4 kids, and I have been the primary caretaker for 10 years?

Wife has given me an ultimatum to let her continue her personal guy friendships, with no more transparency. Phone privacy, e mail privacy, confided friendship privacy, psychiatrist privacy, therapist privacy. I dont like the ultimatum and all, and it is in response to a boundary I had set.

Family law courts are interested in what is in the "best interest" of the children in a divorce action.  Parents have a constitutional right to parent their children but this right is not unlimited and has limitations, such as the best interest of the children.  In a divorce, the court will determine parenting time and decision making responsibilities for children considering  the several  "best interest" factors. One such factor is not if your wife has "guy"friends and/or an affair, unless it impacts the children, which is rarely does.  if this is the reason for you to seek a dissolution of marriage, Colorado is also a no fault divorce state.
