I purchased the house in my name before we married. Will this be a factor in a divorce?

Answer

It could be depending on how long prior to the divorce the home was purchased,

how long you have been married and what, if any, separate funds were used to purchase the property as well

as how the property is currently titled/financed.

If the property was conveyed and/or refinanced during the marriage with your spouse,

that could impact the case as well.
