How do I recover $150,000 that was stolen by an attorney escrow in Texas?
Asked in Homestead, FL on January 28, 2026 Last answered on February 24, 2026Am looking to recover $150,000 that was stolen by an attorney in Texas. I filed a Grievance & Ethics report with the Texas State Bar. The disciplinary panel saw and heard evidence, including fraudulent documets, and found enough evidence to find the attorney guilty of miscouduct. Prior to filing the grevance, I had sent a demand for payment via FedEx, giving the 30 days notice that he never complied with. I am looking to recover the my funds plus the amount that is by owed by law if clamaint doesn't respond.
