If you were hit while lawfully crossing in a crosswalk, you may have a personal injury claim against the driver. The process typically begins by filing a claim with the driver’s auto insurance. If the insurance company refuses to fully compensate you, a lawsuit can be filed in civil court. Speaking with an experienced personal injury attorney early is important to protect evidence and your rights.
