Can I sue my neighbor for injuries from their tree limb that fell?
Asked in New York, NY on March 10, 2025 Last answered on February 4, 2026I was injured by a falling tree branch on my neighbor's property. It had been hanging over the property over a walkway we share. It needed to be removed for a few weeks after a storm that must have knocked it down. My neighbor was aware of the dead tree branches but did not take any action to remove them after I complained.
