In general non-compete provisions in your separation agreement are not highly enforceable. Courts prefer to see employees have mobility and opportunity to renter the workforce and be free to find a new job. If the non-compete is detailed and outlines reasonable distance, time and specifics in the non-compete it may be more enforceable. It might be advisable to show it to your new employer and seek their advice on how to proceed.
