Answer

Out of State Lawyers MUST Have Local Counsel

Nevada is a fairly closed bar. It is critical that out of state lawyers understand the rules for pro hac vice approval and practice and how involved a local court will expect the sponsoring attorney to be. Moreover, local practice and familiarity with the judges and systems is absolutely critical to successfully handling a matter in Nevada courts. Our of state lawyers are strongly advised to retain and use local counsel in every matter they handle in Nevada.
