  I invested $50,000 as a business partner in a small jewelry store based in New York's Upper East Side. The business operated through both a physical retail store and online sales channels, including livestream and website sales. Over time, I was not kept informed about major business decisions. I recently learned that the physical store had been shut down and the company was closed, but I was never formally notified during this process. I have also not been provided with any financial statements, bank records, accounting reports, or a clear breakdown regarding how company funds, expenses, inventory, and remaining assets were handled.

  The managing partner recently informed me the business incurred significant losses and is currently undergoing tax/accounting cleanup with a CPA. However, I have concerns regarding a lack of financial transparency, whether all business revenue (including online sales) was properly accounted for, and whether I have legal rights as a business partner to request full accounting and review how funds and assets were managed before and during the company shutdown process.
