Looking for a refund, do I need to take this to civil court?
Asked in Harrison, OH on October 29, 2025 Last answered on January 20, 2026Made a cash payment of $333.00 for a part and diagnostic. Months later, work has not been completed (or started for that matter)

I would recommend you look for the small claims court in your jurisdiction and file a complaint. These are courts designed to operate without the need for hiring an attorney, while still allowing you to recover the amount you are lawfully due.
