What is the average cost to appeal a judge's decision on alimony and post separation support?
Asked in Wilmington, NC on March 10, 2026 Last answered on September 22, 2026A judge dismissed my claim for post-separation support and alimony, due to the fact I was missing the requested documents, bank statements, Venmo statements, 401(k), etc. I retired, and my wife was a family breadwinner, and she left the home and marriage for no qualifying reason other than to go find peace. Left me in a bad position, emotionally and financially.
