Child protective agency removed my child from my house when I was in the hospital. Need advice for what to do next

Child protective agency removed my child from my house when I was rushed to the hospital where I was having seizures. My child was with the neighbors until my fiance came home to take care of him. I was not given any paperwork to why or anything that was going on. Now cps is trying to tell me that I have to follow the rules for me to get my son back. No charges or anything to that matter has been filed, so I would like to get some advice on this matter.

if you received an indication letter, you need to file an appeal. you also need to file an appearance in a juvenile matter and respond to any petition filed by the state.  you do need to speak to a lawyer.
