How do I find an attorney to review a proposed rewrite to a 501c7 4 pg Art of Inc and cost?
Asked in Mesa, AZ on January 7, 2026 Last answered on August 3, 2026We're a small non-profit stamp collecting club discussing a proposed rewrite to our old Articles of Incorporation. The rewritten AofI is a simple read and layout at 4 pages and we feel it should be reviewed. We would rewrite our old Bylaws next. How do I find an attorney to review the proposed rewrite and, if there ever were such a thing as an "average" cost, what might a typical review cost?

I apologize for not answering this question sooner. I was not aware that there was this feature on the website.
I don't know that I could quote you an average cost. It would depend upon the agreement you reach with an attorney. Typically attorneys charge by the hour, thus it is merely a question of the amount of time multiplied by the attorney's hourly rate. I could recommend a couple of attorneys who work in this particular area for you. If you want to contact me directly, please do.
