My 14 year-old son and his friend were riding my son's e-bike and were hit by a landscaping truck’s attached trailer. What are legal options?

They were riding together on one e-bike together and were hit by a landscaping truck with attached trailer,  6x12 approximately. They landed inside the trailer on a riding lawnmower housed in the trailer with additional machines. The boy passenger has had a 12-hour surgery with more to come. My son hurt both legs, requiring stiches, and many bruises and severe trauma. The boy passenger is still in intensive care.

Answer

Liability will depend on the specific facts of the case i.e. location of trick and trailer; speed; witnesses etc.

Needs to be reviewed by experienced personal injury attorney.
