it depends on whether you are a "non-exempt" hourly employee or an exempt/salaried employee.  If you are properly classified as a salaried/exempt employee, then no you are not entitled to overtime compensation regardless of how many hours you work.

if you are a non-exempt/hourly employee and you have worked in excess of 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week, then yes you would be entitled to be paid overtime compensation.
