Can a wrongful death claim be settled out of court?
Asked in Miami, FL | November 22, 2024We are in the early stages of considering a wrongful death claim after my husband's death in a car accident. I've heard that cases like this can take a long time but also that some cases are settled out of court. Is this possible, and how does it work?

Can you sue a cruise line for injuries on the cruise?
Asked in Miami, FL | November 22, 2024I was injured on a cruise ship. I slipped on a wet deck that had no warning signs and suffered a minor shoulder injury. The ship's medical staff provided initial treatment, but I have ongoing medical expenses and pain. Can I file a personal injury lawsuit against the cruise line?
