My son was fired for situation that derived from Epilepsy. The company was aware of. It has been over 180 days. Is there anything that can be done?
Asked in Calhoun, GA | February 15, 2026His epilepsy causes memory loss, and he had 1 incident where he failed to let them know when he pulled a muscle. Which, for one, he had no remembrance of and did not really realize he pulled a muscle, since he unloaded boxes for a living, sore was sore most nights, then a second incident concerning an ankle issue they were aware of. Still, they said he should have told them about it before leaving. Again, his memory issue was the reason he didn't say anything, and the fact that they knew of this prior. He did have one valid incident. Which usually would not have ended in termination. His boss expressed regret that it had exceeded the requirements.

Asked in Atlanta, GA | November 22, 2024I slipped and fell at a grocery store a couple days ago due to a slick floor with no warning signs. Verbally confronted and questioned aggressively in Krogers, do I have a case?
Asked in Atlanta, GA | February 9, 2026I visited my previous Kroger store location, where I had worked prior to being transferred. While inside the store, I was verbally confronted and questioned aggressively by the administrative assistant, who asked why I was there. This interaction felt hostile and unprovoked. I immediately reported the incident to my union representative. However, I felt that my concerns were dismissed. I was told not to worry about it and was advised not to write a statement, which made me feel as though my side of the situation was not being taken seriously. The following day, I was suspended based on allegations made by the same administrative assistant, who claimed that I had a gun and that I cursed at her. These allegations are completely false. During a separate interview with my union representative, the administrative assistant contradicted her own claims by stating, “I didn’t hear what he said; I couldn’t make out what he was saying.” Additionally, management was unable to provide any video evidence showing me with a gun. The footage they reviewed actually supports my statement and shows that I did not have a weapon. Given these facts, I believe these accusations are unfounded.

Highly expensive oral chemotherapy medication that did not help my condition
Asked in Atlanta, GA | December 23, 2025I am a cancer patient who received oncology care. During my treatment, they prescribed a highly expensive oral chemotherapy medication that did not help my condition and instead contributed to disease progression / worsening. Despite this, they repeatedly failed to remember what they prescribed, what had harmed me, and what had not worked, and ultimately stated that there were “no medical options available,” effectively abandoning my care. I am seeking legal evaluation and potential compensation against the physician personally, not the organization. The doctor prescribed a very expensive oral chemotherapy drug. The medication did not improve my condition. It worsened disease progression and caused measurable decline. After this outcome, they failed to acknowledge the negative impact. What can I do?
