Do I have to let my employer know about a DUI?
Asked in Chicago, IL | December 9, 2024I was charged with a DUI in Illinois. I'm worried about how this will affect my current job, not to mention future employment. Is there a law that I have to tell my employer about the charges against me, or is it OK to not tell them?

Asked in Chicago, IL | November 14, 2025I appeared last week on a motion to default on the sale of the marital property. The default is no longer but there’s a motion to enforce the sale. They also want the divorce proceedings addressed.

How does Illinois define "possession" in drug charges?
Asked in Chicago, IL | November 22, 2024Can I be charged with drug possession if the drugs weren't directly on me, but were found in my car or home? I don't do any drugs, but I have friends that do occasionally partake. Can I get in legal trouble if they forget their stuff at my house or accidentally drop it in my car?
