What can I do if the mother of my child is making visitations really hard to deal with?
Asked in Del Mar, CA | March 31, 2026By example if I don’t pick up the phone at the first ring when she calls she treats me with calling the police for a wellness check on my child or she is constantly calling him on a video call asking him to show her around my house and putting device trackers on him. Plus she always states I’m a bad father and that I have no rights or that she wants to replace me with her new partner. I have all this evidence on talking parents, the app the court gave us to communicate, plus she blocked me from her phone, preventing me from contacting my son.

I feel that I was set up and provoked so my spouse could get control of property. DVO. Is this something the court would consider?
Asked in Hickory, NC | December 11, 2025Recently purchased a house and dumped all my savings into it. I believe that my wife and stepson planned out an argument to provoke me and take out DVO To get control of my assets/ property. Neither one helped with purchase or repairs. They locked me out and were waiting at the entrance. I was intoxicated. My stepson produced a gun and I slapped him and tried to get it. He then held me and my brother in law at gunpoint. 911 was called. I think my wife was acting the whole time. She took out papers and police arrested me without talking to any witnesses there besides those two.

My 388 hearing was denied. The lawyer I had hired had filed the 388 papers the day before court. What do I do?
Asked in Los Angeles, CA | July 22, 2026When I hired this lawyer, I was told that they’d get me reunification again and that I’d get my son back, but nothing happened. Very unprofessional. Filled 388 paperwork the day before court. And now I got my rights terminated. They appealed it, and that’s where I’m at. What do I do? I need my son back. I did everything that was in the case plan.
