What can I do if the mother of my child is making visitations really hard to deal with?
Asked in Del Mar, CA | March 31, 2026By example if I don’t pick up the phone at the first ring when she calls she treats me with calling the police for a wellness check on my child or she is constantly calling him on a video call asking him to show her around my house and putting device trackers on him. Plus she always states I’m a bad father and that I have no rights or that she wants to replace me with her new partner. I have all this evidence on talking parents, the app the court gave us to communicate, plus she blocked me from her phone, preventing me from contacting my son.

My bf of 7 yrs in Alameda bent my glasses, slapped me 4,5 times in my face, pulled my hair out extremely hard. What can I do?
Asked in Alameda, CA | December 5, 2025My bf of 7 yrs in Alameda bent my glasses, slapped me 4,5 times in my face, pulled my hair out extremely hard, scratched my leg leaving red marks, dumped a bottle of water on my head and called the cops on me. He’s been emotionally abusive, also calling me a cheapskate mooch, crazy psycho b****, evil monster, not sexy, curvy, or hot enough. Police gave me an emergency protective order. I have a house with his name on it, but we aren’t married. Now he wants half of my house.

Given her $480k income vs my -$84k debt, how quickly can we secure an emergency FC 2030 order to level playing field?
Asked in Richmond, CA | May 5, 2026I need to file for custody of my twin sons (13yo) and challenge a post-nuptial signed under duress. My wife has used my immigration status as leverage to control custody decisions and force me into an unconscionable financial agreement. FACTS: Immigration Coercion: Wife filed I-130 green card petition for me, then used it as leverage Threatened to cancel petition unless I signed unfavorable post-nuptial agreement Recently attempted to cancel my I-130 in retaliation for requesting custody Have recordings of explicit immigration threats Post-Nup Under Duress: Signed December 2023 while separated from children and financially dependent Agreement gives her $2.5M in assets, leaves me with -$84K in debt My own attorney documented it was a "great disadvantage" before I signed I wrote at time of signing: "I have no other option to be able to live close to my kids" Wife's attorney admitted in writing she avoided discussing custody during post-nup negotiations because it would "weaken the enforceability of said agreement" Financial Disparity: She controls $500K+ in liquid assets She unilaterally drained joint accounts across three countries (US, Ind & Fra)I have zero access to community funds.

I was threatened over an assumption saying my teeth will all be smashed, jaw broken and throat slit plus much more 2 say
Asked in Orange, CA | May 16, 2026Screams at me, waking me up, saying I ate a spoonful of his peanut butter, which I don’t buy. You can check my EBT records. I get up to go see what he’s claiming, and there’s just a peanut butter residue spoon in the sink. He says, “That’s clearly a peanut butter spoon.” So I say, “Wait, wait, so it goes teaspoon, tablespoon, then peanut butter spoon?" He gets about 2 inches from my face and says, "I'm going to smash all your fucking teeth, break your jaw, and slit your throat -- I hope mommy has good dental for you." I promptly fled out as fast as I could and cry myself to sleep every night as I'm in fear for my life!!!!!!!!!!
Every time he walks in the room, he has a menacing grimace on his face as if he wants to kill me. He is on parole for heinous crimes. The second time I had an early appointment so I go to take a shower. As soon as I’m out of the shower (and mind you, 2 others are sleeping in the room), he’s slamming doors, screaming in front of my face about how I'm a c*nt, my mom's a c*nt, and I’ll never get a job even though I apply to 15-25 daily on Indeed. I'm in fear for my life.
