I want to know if I still have rights to get my child back, and if so, how would I go about starting the process?
Asked in Dallas, TX | July 11, 2026A couple of years back, my baby's mother got her kids taken away, and one of them happened to be my daughter. We were going through a separation when she was going through CPS, but I stayed around to go to court and visit with my daughter, and now I've got my stuff together. I have my own place, and I’ve been working at the same job for over 15 years. I’m trying to see what I can do to get my daughter back.

My son lost his life in a car accident where the owner of the car had no insurance and it was a recall on the car
Asked in Killeen, TX | November 21, 2025I want to know if i can sue this person . My son was not intoxicated . I dont believe he knew it was a recall on the car . My son was the driver and died on impact . Friends that had been with him that night as he was the designated driver, told me that he was driving safely even though it was a sports car . My son was going home to the left when the car veered to the right and was unable to stop. The owner of the car has never reached out to me. He was my sons boss which seems odd to me but also I hold him accountable because he allowed my son use of his car knowing it was a recall on it. My son was a highly intelligent young man and I dont believe that he would have driven himself or any of his friends which he considered family in a car that would be considered dangerous . My son passed in the worst way leaving behind myself , two brothers , a sister , a niece , nephew and most importantly a 8 year old daughter . I need justice for my son and my family.

I tripped over a unsafe ramp installed for my dad. He has fallen on it, and I tripped and messed up my knee. Can I sue?
Asked in Dallas, TX | July 5, 2026The ramp that they installed for my dad is not up to code. It was very poorly done. It does not have guardrails, is very small, and barely even fits his wheelchair. The person he used to make it does not have any certifications or any licenses. He was not qualified to make this ramp.

I am being sued for an accident that the plaintiff claims I was at fault.
Asked in Midland, TX | May 21, 2026Was in a traffic collision at a 4 way stop where plaintiff claims I did not stop at a stop sign even though I recall clearly stopping. She is now suing me, the contracting company, and the corporation the contracting company did business for. A police office was called to the scene and made a police report and there was no fault determined at the time. A traffic violation was not issued for the accident. There are outrageous claims being made in the lawsuit and I am being sued for a substantial amount of money and am on a fixed income. I need help to fight this but I am not where sure where to start or how to even pay for representation.
