• Can I file an RFO in california because the attorney I hired did not two months ago?

  I am a stay-at-home mother who has been caring for the kids for approximately 10 years. My husband and I have been married for 12 years with two small children, ages 6 and 9. He abandoned the home at the end of February and only infrequently provides me with funds. He routinely forwards me utility bills, knowing I have no income. He said he will take all of the utilities out of his name. He has threatened to take full custody of my children because I am without a job. His income is $615,000; however, he structured his paycheck in a way that he only brings home 6,000 every two weeks. He invests the rest. I have no access to any funds other than what is in the joint bank account. I asked my lawyer to file for a temporary. He has been incredibly financially and psychologically abusive since I became a stay-at-home mom. He has also yelled at me several times and has pushed me on occasion.
